Eastlake - private foundation
Truly one of SGA’s signature projects, the award-winning Eastlake Building, which serves as the headquarters for a prominent Seattle-based private foundation, was completed over the course of a decade and features the finest-quality tenant improvement work. When SGA started the project, the building was a decaying two-story concrete records storage warehouse for a financial institution. Upon completion, the building took on a crisp, contemporary flair and grew to three stories with a dramatic 17,000 square foot, steel-framed penthouse, featuring the extensive use of architectural metals and distinctive glazing systems.
In total, SGA created over 100,000 square feet of interior space with Class “A” interior tenant improvements on all three levels. The penthouse component was completed while the two floors below were fully occupied. SGA received the “Excellence in Construction” award from ABC for its high-quality workmanship.
