Ballard gets a new liquor store
By JOURNAL STAFF
SGA Corp. recently finished a 6,000-square-foot Washington State Liquor Store at 2840 N.W. Market St. in Ballard. The site was home to an old taxi repair shop, which was torn down to make way for construction.
Part of SGA's $875,000 contract included construction of retaining walls.
Major subcontractors included Sterling Masonry, Stanley Roofing, Sound Glass, State Mechanical, Smith Fire, Hermanson Co. and Evergreen Electrical Services. Clark Design Group was the architect.
Fenpro, the project's developer, is leasing the space to the state.
