Safety
The SGA Corporation Health and Safety Program consists of the following parts:
- A written Safety Program that is specific for each jobsite
- A written Fall Protection Plan that is specific for each jobsite
- All required postings on the jobsite
- Proper warning and informational signage
- Strict hard hat policy on all jobsites
- Weekly Tool Box Meetings with all trade foremen
- Daily Safety Inspections and Weekly Written Checklists
- Training session for all new hires in overall safety including Falls, Excavation and Hazcom
- A Jobsite Safety Handbook
- Includes hearing, eye, fire protection, etc.
- Given to all employees with training session
- Employee sign off
- Fall Protection
- Video viewed by all with training session
- Instructional booklet to all supervisors
- Hazcom Training
- Video viewed by all with training session
- Instructional booklet to all supervisors
- Lockout/Tagout Program
- Instructional booklet to all supervisors
- Training for supervisors
- Awareness training for all employees
- Safety Warning Notice Program for employees on site including subconctractors
- Partnership with ABC in jobsite safety programs
