Sammamish Children's School
SGA completed the original 14,000 square foot Sammamish Children’s School building in 2003 and was invited back in 2008 to complete a new 6,000 square foot addition due to the overwhelming success of the school. With modern lines and materials on the exterior, and exposed post and beam construction on the interior, the Sammamish Children’s School raises the bar on private educational facilities.
The scope of work included site work, construction of the new school facility and construction of several outdoor structures, including two shed-roofed, open-air play structures and an outdoor bicycle “race track” for the students. Architectural appearance-grade materials were used for the impressive exposed roof structure. Unique materials, both inside and out, along with a whimsical color scheme, provide a fun environment for the teachers, parents and students.
